Why Choose Connected Home

As local residents of the Santa Ynez Valley for more than two decades, we understand the things that make our homes and area unique: The wide open spaces, early morning walks in the foothills, the afternoon wine tasting outings, trips to the beach with family. And at the end of the day, when we come home, it's our moment to take a deep breath and appreciate it all. It's where we've been planted.

And just because we've left the city, doesn't mean we've left our connection to the world. We reach out to our parents or kids; we watch our favorite shows; we listen to our favorite newscasts or read our newspaper online; We appreciate and rely on the convenience that technology brings to our lives, and most often isn't even noticed, until it doesn't work. That's where we come in: We design, install and support robust systems, based on industry-leading software and hardware platforms. Each solution is unique to you, with the goal of enhancing your living experience with a focus on simplicity and reliability.

Foundational Base Layer

Why is my internet so slow?

Why does it just stop working?

Is there any way to get better, faster and more reliable internet?

We can research all your internet options including terrestrial, aerial and satellite, giving you the information to make the best decision for your situation. Then we just make it happen.

STREAM

Cut the chord

Cutting the Cord

Why is cable so expensive?

What's the difference between cable, satellite and streaming?

Why am I paying for all those channels I don't watch?

What about local TV stations?

Why should I consider "cutting the cord"?

Making the switch to streaming can be confusing with too many options. Through discovery and education, we create the right approach and plan for your home. Then we just make it happen.

Improving Coverage

Why does my phone keep dropping calls?

Why does it only work in certain parts of the house?

Do I still need my land line?

Many areas in the Valley are known as cellular dead zones, and good luck getting your carrier to install a new cell tower. Well, the good news is you don't have to rely on them to fix your cell coverage, as there are several alternatives available.

Adding Intelligence to Your Home

Why is cable so expensive?

What's the difference between cable, satellite and streaming?

Why am I paying for all those channels I don't watch?

What about local TV stations?

Why should I consider "cutting the cord"?

We provide personalized consultation services to help older residential customers navigate the complexities of modern technology. Our experts offer tailored guidance and support, ensuring that our customers feel confident and empowered in their technological choices.

GRID

Solar, Inverters, Batteries & More

What can I do about my high PG&E bills?

I have solar on my roof, but my bills continue to go up. Why?

How can I store my solar generation for use at night?

How can I keep the lights on when the power goes out?

Some homes have solar while others don't, but all can be run more efficiently, expanded and monitored to maximize the sun that shines in our region. Then by adding a battery system to your home, you can begin to treat PG&E as backup power instead of the primary source of expensive power. We maximize your home's efficiency. We just make it happen.

How it works

Step 1: Phone Meeting

Our first conversation will be an initial, no-cost phone call to understand what you're trying to fix or solve for.

Step 3: Proposal Review

With that thorough understanding, we'll send you a proposal with all the details for you to understand the solution and make an informed decision.

Step 2: Personal Meeting

If we think we can help, we'll schedule a meeting in your home to expand that conversation and dig deeper into the details of the problem in the context of your unique home and environment. The cost of the fixed-price initial consultation fee will be applied to your final solution, should you decide to move forward.

Step 4: Schedule the Work

Once we are in agreement on the work and expected improvement to your quality of life, we'll schedule the work and get it done.
